Jingaree Wallal Wahlu – Greetings to you all!

NAIDOC week celebrations at Gilston State School have been postponed until later in the year.  We will keep you updated when we have more details.

NAIDOC Week 2020 is from Sunday 5 July to Sunday 12 July (but will be celebrated later in the year) and is an opportunity for all Australians to come together to celebrate the rich history, diverse cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the oldest continuing cultures on the planet.

I respectfully acknowledge the Yugambeh language people on whose land we stand today.  We respect the ancestors, plants, animals, land, waterways and sky. We thank the people who have come before us for looking after Country. We thank past, present and future generations for sharing their wisdom with us. We extend our acknowledgement to all Aboriginal people who are with us today.
