Role of the P&C
The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) helps to support the school in many ways. We provide retail services through our
award winning tuckshop, manage the
uniform shop and undertake fundraising throughout the school year. We also provide funding to enable additional resources and equipment for the school.
The P&C relies on parents, relatives, friends and the school community’s involvement in fundraising activities as well as helping at the tuckshop, student banking and various events. We also encourage support in the classroom through volunteering as a student liaison or classroom helper. When parents are involved in their children's education, kids do better in school!
P&C Membership is open to everyone in our school community. New faces and new ideas are always welcome here at Gilston.
