Jingaree Wallal Wahlu – Greetings to you all!

NAIDOC Week 2023 is from Sunday 2 July to Sunday 9 July  and is an opportunity for all Australians to come together to celebrate the rich history, diverse cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the oldest continuing cultures on the planet.

The Staff and Students of Gilston State School acknowledge and pay respect to the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Nations People and the Traditional Custodians of the land we live, learn and work on. We extend that Acknowledgment to their Elders past, present and emerging and thank them for allowing us to work together, share knowledge and walk alongside them in the education of our Jarjums/students.
